Weybridge Vandals winger Harry Weatherall paid tribute to his team-mates as he celebrated his 100th league appearance for the club with a try in a thrilling win over Winchester on Saturday.
The 27-year-old has played for every team at the club having first picked up a rugby ball on Desborough Island as a four-year-old and remains a key part of head coach George Pickersgill's squad this term.
His welcome return to the starting line up this week - after a brief cameo off the bench against Old Tiffinians last time out - coincided with a second home win of the season as six tries from hooker Cameron Edgar helped seal a 54-31 triumph.

The result edged Vandals up to third in the Regional Two South Central table and Weatherall believes recent performances are evidence enough to suggest that is where the squad is capable of competing this term.
"The 100 caps, as a thing in itself, is unbelievable. My mum and dad brought me here as a four-year-old and this is the only club I've ever wanted to play for," he said.
"The boys made it a really special day for me and my family, so I couldn't ask for anything more. Everyone stuck their neck in the spokes and got after it.
"The win itself was a bit scratchy. We gave away lots of penalties, but there is nothing better than winning. It is why we do it and everyone's had a great time."
He added: "We're hear to compete. I don't see why top three isn't a reasonable target if we can mix it with the guys who did well last year.
"We've shown we are at least on a par with them so, why not?"

Going over: Harry Weatherall scores on his 100th league appearance with back row pest Sam Hall in close proximity
While Edgar's six tries claimed the headlines it was a wasp-like performance from emergency openside Sam Hall that set the tone for a forward effort that underpinned the team's desire to move the ball as quickly as possible.
Hall, son of long-time Vandal Dave, was his side's starting scrum-half on the season's opening day, but with forwards James Gulliver, Tom Frewin, Michael Mason, Callum Hennessy and Robbie Dones all sidelined, he answered the call to fill the back row void.
Having been instrumental in two of Edgar's first three scores he showed no let up as he pestered Winchester all afternoon, claiming an opportunistic score of his own to settle nerves as the visitors sought to get back in the game in the second half.
"Sam's been playing as a nine for the last couple of seasons so to see how he stuck his head in the way all day was brilliant. He was an absolute nuisance," added Weatherall.
"Cam getting six is just typical. He's always getting on the end of everyone else's hard work. But he is a big old weapon."
Tottonians are the visitors on Saturday and Weatherall believes home comforts - and addressing the penalty count - will stand them in good stead.
"The pitch makes such a big difference and ours is an amazing track to play on," he said.
"Penalties wise its all stuff that is fixable. Its not individuals being nasty or doing silly things. They are team issues.
"We'll focus on it in the week, hammer it home and then we'll be ready to go at the weekend."
