We held the Christmas draw at the club on the 31st Dec following a very enjoyable and well attended inter-club game with thanks to Paul Hollingshead and Paul Bryant for organising such a superb occasion. The list of prize winners are attached - congratulations to them and my huge thank yous to all who supported the draw. Particular mention must go to the amazing John Farrow who sold a whopping £1,000 worth; the wonderful John Vaughan selling £425 and Adrian Waldock, Malcolm Cammack, Krik Krikorian, Julie Matthews and Rhidian Thomas who all sold £100 or more. We sold £7,500 worth of tickets meaning profits of over £5,500 across the club with sections receiving shares in proportion to sales. This money provides a vital injection of funds for each section: the club is ENTIRELY self-financed through subs, bar profits and fundraising like the Christmas Draw and it neesd support of all for us to be able to continue.

Once again the Christmas Draw has relied on the huge generosity of a few which I'd like to thank. To Ken and Tim Perry for donating the wonderful 1st prize between them; to Wayne Mason for again securring a top notch prize (the ipad2); to Krik Krikorian for again donating his popular flight and to Kenneth Green associates; Toni & Guy; Derek Hyatt, Saracens and Quins (thank you Richard Varney) for their prizes as well. Lastly I'm very grateful to the help of John Mottram and John Sillwood with the organisation of the draw.
