Dear Guests and Fellow Vandals,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Weybridge Vandals Rugby Club Autumn Festival 2025.
Founded in 1932, Weybridge Vandals has a proud tradition of community, sportsmanship, and the development of grassroots rugby. Originally formed by a group of local sports enthusiasts, the club has grown over the decades to become a thriving hub for rugby, cricket, and netball. Still located on the banks of the River Thames at Brownacres, Vandals remains a volunteer-run, family-friendly club, committed to nurturing a lifelong passion for sport in young people. We are proud of our inclusive and welcoming ethos, and today’s festival is a celebration of those values.
Festival Code of Conduct
As we celebrate the spirit of rugby, we kindly ask all attendees - players, coaches, and spectators -to join us in upholding the highest standards of respect and sportsmanship:
? Respect the Referees
The referee’s decision is final. Please support their role by showing respect and encouraging players to do the same.
? Applaud Good Play
Cheer for positive rugby from both teams. Recognition of skill, courage, and effort should know no bias.
? No Bad Language
Offensive language directed at referees, coaches, or players from the touchline is unacceptable.
? No Encouragement of Foul Play
Please support play that reflects the values of rugby. Unsafe or unsporting behaviour must not be encouraged.
❤️ It’s Only a Game
While we all love to see our teams succeed, this festival is about enjoyment, learning, and community. Let’s make it a safe, fun, and positive experience for everyone.
Should any issues arise, please approach one of the organisers in a respectful and constructive manner.
We are always open to feedback to help us improve our events.
