Pre season for the senior section has started and takes place on Tuesday and Thursday from 7.30 - 9pm.  Tuesday nights are run by Buster and Ady and Thursday is run by Buster with the focus on skills, drills and contact work.  The Owls are playing touch on Tuesday and Thursday and will continue to do so until the start of the season.  If you have not been down then you are missing out on some excellent sessions. Player feedback is really positive with everyone getting something out of the sessions. The fitness is tough but enjoyable and focussed on strength, overall fitness and rugby conditioning.

Pre season dates have been confirmed and are behind the bar, please check your availability and let your captain know. Full details for the first team preparation are still to be confirmed but we are trying to organise a team building day on 14 August. This will include physical and mental activities followed by a planning session and then a BBQ which will be open to friends and family.

21 August will be an away trip with an overnight stay at Swanage. We will take a large first team squad made up of 1's and 2's players, leaving Sat morning. Play the game on Sat, have a night out in Swanage, camp down there and have some warm down activities on the beach on Sunday morning before coming back. Our old adversaries Trojans will also be there but they declined our offer of a triangular competition so Swanage will lay on 2 equal strength sides.

September 4th will see 3 home games at the club against Teddington followed by the first social of the season - Hawaiian night planned by our new social committee (Duke and Lats). Full details will be sent out and posters put up on the notice board in the next 2 weeks.
